Cloud Machine rates
Usage is calculated by the second. Hourly rates are shown here to make the cost easier to understand.
CPU and memory charges end once a Machine is stopped or paused. Retained disk storage is still charged.

Personal and each Organization have separate subscriptions, bills, usage, and credit balances. Your Personal Pro subscription does not cover an Organization’s subscription or usage.

Add credits before using Cloud Machines or Thinair-hosted Agents. Purchases start at $10, and purchased credits never expire. Your balance is shown in dollars, such as “$25 available.”
Cloud Machines and Thinair-hosted Agents share one balance within their owning account. Subscription fees are paid separately.
Optional automatic refill
Choose both the balance threshold and the amount to add. For example: automatically add $25 when your balance drops below $5.
You can also set a monthly limit on automatic credit purchases. It is off by default. Refills stop before exceeding the limit; existing credits remain usable, and you can still buy credits manually.
What’s the difference between a Member and a Guest?
Members have access to account resources according to their permissions; Organization Members have paid seats. Guests can join shared Workspaces and view or use the specific application views you permit. Members launch applications and create those views. Guests cannot launch applications, create application views, or manage Machines. They do not get general access to account resources and do not consume Member seats. All paid plans allow unlimited Guests.
When are Organization Members billed?
An Organization must subscribe before adding Members. An invitation alone does not create a paid seat; billing starts when the person accepts. Removing a Member gives no credit for unused time. A replacement can reuse that paid seat for the rest of the billing period, and vacant seats are excluded from the next cycle.
Am I charged when a Machine is stopped or paused?
CPU and memory charges end once the Machine reaches the stopped or paused state. Reserved resources remain billable while a Machine is being created, started, stopped, or paused. Retained Machine Disk storage continues to be charged.
Do purchased credits expire?
Purchased credits never expire. Credit purchases start at $10 and are separate from subscription fees. Buying credits alone does not unlock Personal Cloud Machines; Pro is still required.
How is Agent usage billed?
Agent model usage billed through Thinair draws from the same prepaid balance as Cloud Machines in that account. Contact Thinair for hosted Agent availability, model choices, and usage rates. Usage through your own AI-provider account is billed directly by that provider and does not draw from your Thinair balance.
What happens if an automatic refill fails?
We notify the billing owner. Work continues while the account has credits remaining.
What happens when my credits run out?
At zero credits, Cloud Machines pause and Thinair-hosted Agent work stops until credits are added. We retain paid Cloud storage for 30 days at our expense after credits run out and warn the billing owner before deleting that retained data after the retention period.
